In the Street Kidz ministry, our philosophy is to have a ministry with an exciting and energetic atmosphere for the kidz while they learn about Jesus in creative and innovative ways. Our desire is to see children accept Jesus as their Savior(the “KNOW” part) and be excited about going to church to grow(the “GROW” part) in their relationship with Him. We pray that as kidz leave our ministry they leave with bonding relationships with other kidz and their teachers. We also pray that they have grown in their relationship with Jesus so much that they enter their teen years with a strong foundation and a desire to serve the Lord ministering to others (the “GO”).

How to Get Connected with Street Kidz

Kidz Church

Join us for Kidz Church each Sunday from 9:30 until 10:45! We’ll have a great Bible-based lesson for our Kidz to learn – plus worship and games. All 1st-5th graders should be signed-in in the KidZone to receive a security sticker.

KidzLIFE

KidzLIFE is an exciting Bible study time where kidz will discover Christ from eternity past to eternity future in a small group setting! KidzLIFE begins at 11:00 A.M. each Sunday and ends at 12:00 P.M. If your child has been in Kidz Church and will be attending a KidzLIFE class, they will be automatically escorted by their KidzLIFE teacher to their classroom at 10:55 A.M.

Nursery/PreSchool

The Oak Street Baptist Church Nursery and Preschool Programs exist to provide a healthy, positive, safe and pleasant environment. It also strives to provide the best personnel for the excellent care of babies, toddlers and preschoolers. We desire to make sure that parents and children experience the love of God and the friendly fellowship of God’s people in the Nursery and Preschool Ministry.

 

The Street Kidz Beginnings Nursery is located in the Main Worship Center and cares for infants through 3 year olds during Worship Service and LIFEtime. The Preschool “Crosswalk Kidz” is for 4 years olds and is in the Red Brick House located to the north of the Main Worship Center
